‘Vitra Social Media Chair Raffle’

Are you interested in participating in our social media raffle? Here is how it works:

1. Like the post announcing the ‚Vitra Social Media Chair Raffle‘ and share your love of #Vitra by commenting below the post indicating your favourite colour of the Eames Plastic Chair RE.

2. Tag two friends.

3. Follow @sijbenwooncenter and @Vitra to stay up to date.

4. Make sure that your profile and comment are publicly accessible. This is the only way your post can be seen and verified. Non-public posts are excluded from participation.

Participants can enter the raffle with one or more contributions (comments). However, each participant will only be admitted to the raffle once regardless of the number of comments (i.e. more comments do not increase the chance of winning the raffle).

Terms and conditions of participation

The following terms and conditions (hereinafter the ‘Terms’) apply to your participation in the ‘Vitra Social Media Chair Raffle’ competition (hereinafter the ‘Raffle’) held by Sijben (hereinafter referred to as ‘Dealer’).

The Raffle is not affiliated with, nor sponsored, endorsed or organised by Meta Platforms Inc. or any of its subsidiaries.

A. Entry requirements

1. Open to anyone who is eighteen (18) years and over and has a residential or shippingaddress in the Netherlands, Germany or Belgium. Anyone wishing to participate must have a public Instagram profile.

2. Employees of the Dealer or a company of the Vitra Group are excluded from participating in the Raffle.

B. General conditions

3. The Raffle ends on 30-5-2024 at 24:00 CET. Comments shared on Instagram after this deadline will automatically be excluded from the Raffle.

4. The winner will be picked at random from all the participating comments and will be announced on the Dealer’s Instagram account on 31-5-2024.

5. Participation is only possible in the form described above. Incomplete contributions are invalid and will automatically be excluded from the Raffle.

6. The participants grant the Dealer, Vitra International AG and the companies affiliated withVitra (each hereinafter referred to as ‘Vitra’) a non-exclusive, perpetual, free, worldwide license for the use of the posts they published on Instagram in order to participate in the Raffle, in particular for digital marketing purposes.

C. Prizes

7. Participants in the Raffle will have the chance to win one Eames Plastic Chair RE by Vitra in the colour indicated by them in their Instagram comment below the Dealer’s raffle post.

8. The winning participant (hereinafter the ‘Winner’) should pick up the prize him/herself at Sijben Wooncenter Roermond. Prizes not claimed or refused for any reason remain the property of the Dealer or Vitra. The Winner has no right to claim a replacement.

9. If a Winner cannot be contacted within thirty (30) working days or does not claim his or her prize within thirty (30) working days of the announcement of the Winner, or if the contact details provided by the Winner are incorrect or the prize cannot be delivered or accepted for any other reason, the Winner shall forfeit their claim to the prize. In this case, the Dealer is entitled to determine another Winner.

D. Limitation of liability

10. The Dealer shall not be responsible or liable for any costs or other expenses incurred by any participant in connection with participating in the Raffle.

11. In the absence of gross negligence or willful misconduct on the part of the Dealer, the Dealer shall not be responsible or liable for (a) network or hardware or software problems of any kind that result in individuals not being able to participate in the Raffle on time or at all, (b) other problems or incidents of any kind that occur in connection with Internet, website, hardware or software functionality, and (c) errors in entering personal data.

12. If the Raffle cannot take place as planned for any reason beyond the Dealer’s control or because it would conflict with legal provisions, the Dealer reserves the right to terminate, modify or postpone the Raffle immediately. In such a case, participants shall have no legal claim to compensation.

E. Data privacy and participation

13. By participating in the Raffle, participants (i) grant the Dealer and Vitra access to their personal data and data published on Instagram and (ii) consent to the Dealer publishing the participant’s Instagram profile in a public Instagram post in the event of the participant winning the Raffle. The Dealer and Vitra collect and process personal data such as names or email addresses solely for the purpose of determining the Winner or, if so desired by the participant, for sending relevant information about furniture, home accessories, campaigns and events. Except for naming the Winner in a public Instagram post, the data will be treated confidentially and will not be passed on to third parties. 14. Insofar as the Dealer and/or Vitra have collected any personal data relating to participants, the latter are entitled to access, correct and delete such data.

15. The Dealer reserves the right to exclude participants from the Raffle if they have submitted their entries using incorrect or false personal data.

F. Governing law and dispute resolution

16. If any provision of these Terms is held to be invalid or unenforceable, all other provisions shall continue to apply unchanged.

17. Dutch law shall apply.
